Frequently Asked Questions

What is the Wall of Remembrance?

It's an online space where you can honor and pay tribute to a loved one who has passed away. You can upload a photo and customize your page to celebrate the life and legacy of your honoree.

After you create your wall, you can invite family and friends to make a memorial donation and leave notes of remembrance and appreciation.

Is the Wall of Remembrance free?

There is no charge to create a wall. All donations made via the wall are tax-deductible.

Where do my donations go?

All donations made via the Wall of Remembrance website benefit the American Lung Association and its mission to save lives by improving lung health and preventing lung disease. 90 cents of every dollar raised by our organization goes directly to education, research and advocacy. The American Lung Association holds a 4-star rating from Charity Navigator, a Platinum Seal of Transparency from GuideStar, and is a member of the National Health Council.
